U10 Championship

On Saturday 12th September Cushendun Emmets took part in the NA U10 Championship in Carey.A fine display of hurling and skill was shown by our boys.James Morgan in goals , in three games kept a clean sheet, helped by a strong back line of Michael Convery, David Kilgore and Niall Mc Cormick. Across the middle our fire power came from Jack Mc Kay,Conor Mc Hugh and Eoin Mc Cusker. While up front we depended on a very young Thomas Scally, Aidan Dunne and Tiernan Mc Keown. A special thanks to our only sub on the day John V Morgan.Our boys played very well in all their matches and finished runners up to the host club Glenshesk.  A big thank you to our coaches Davy, John and Mark and to all who came and supported us especially Katie, Sean and Archie. Hope to see support for the P7 Championship on Saturday 19th in Carey.
