Latest Update

Monday, January 26, 2015
As you hopefully are aware by now, we have joined up with Carey Faughs and Armoy Rovers at underage level. This covers U8 right up to U18 with the option of U21. The new club is called Naomh Padraig (North Antrim) and a few members from the three clubs have been busy over the past couple of months ensuring the newly formed club is properly constituted and has the correct office bearers in place.

The Committee is formed and more importantly, the coaches/managers for the various age groups are in place. The objective now is to have the workshops for the various age groups and then leave it to the coaches/players at that age group to agree the training session times from that point on.

U-16s
The U-16s had their first coaching workshop last Friday night in Cushendun Parochial Hall. The Ulster Coaching Development Officer, Mickey Glover, took the session and it was very well received.  The U-16s are now training on Sunday mornings from 10 to 11 on the Astro Pitch in Ballycastle, we are trying to get a venue to train 1 night during the week, and will keep you informed as and when we know the details. There is an indoor tournament on Saturday 21st March in Magherafelt which we hope to participate in.

Minors
This Friday (30th Jan) it is the turn of the Minors to have their first workshop, venue TBC, it will run from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

U14 & U12
There are two coaching workshops lined up for the U12 and u14's, 20th & 27th February. More details to follow.

The new jerseys will be with us before the season begins, and it is intended to hold a launch day that will involve an information session for anyone wishing to know more about the club. A provisional date for Saturday 14th March has been set, however we need still need to confirm this.
